About Us

Schulter Public Schools takes pride in offering a wide variety of programs to meet the needs of a diverse student population. Schulter Public Schools has developed a reputation for setting the standards of education, being named the top elementary school in Okmulgee County in 2005, and continues today to have some of the highest test scores in Northeast Oklahoma. Academics, fine arts, athletics, as well as access to a vocational school have allowed Schulter Public Schools to serve as a leader in providing for excellence in education for almost a century.

Schulter Public Schools provides a broad base curriculum with each classroom linked together through a fiber optic network providing each classroom with internet access. Strong parental and community involvement is one of the keys that allow Schulter students to achieve excellence in academics, athletics, and fine arts. With an overall student to certified staff ratio of less than 15:1, Schulter Public Schools may perhaps be the ideal size to optimize the learning opportunity for the development of the total child. We like to say, "We want to offer everything that the large schools offer, but without the large school problems." The success of our graduates indicates that Schulter Public Schools has fulfilled this statement by providing its students with a comprehensive learning environment. It is the goal of our caring, professional staff to help each child build upon his/her strengths and to prepare them for the challenges that society will have for them.

The Schulter community has long supported the need for additional schools and renovation projects to meet the changing needs of the district. The recent additions of a new elementary school that houses grades Pre-K through 3rd grade, a new cafeteria, and most recently, a new state of the art High School is evidence of the levels of commitment that we recognize to be essential to the development of tomorrow's leaders.

Please join us at Schulter Public Schools, and see the future, today.
